Alden J. Eldredge
Alden Eldredge's practice focuses on general commercial and business litigation matters arising from breaches of contract, commercial landlord/tenant disputes and real estate-related disputes, including claims arising from easement and boundary line disputes. Mr. Eldredge also handles insurance defense matters, including personal injury and property damage claims. Mr. Eldredge has also defended employers in employment-related litigation, including age, gender, race and disability discrimination and harassment lawsuits before administrative agencies, state and federal trial courts. In addition, Mr. Eldredge has experience providing general employment and labor law advice to employers, including analysis of current employment and compensation policies, and formulation of new policies in order to ensure compliance with a variety of state and federal laws.

Prior to attending college, Mr. Eldredge completed five years of active duty as an intelligence analyst in the U.S. Marine Corps, finishing his service as a sergeant. During his tenure, Mr. Eldredge received two Navy-Marine Corps Achievement medals for professional achievement. Mr. Eldredge then earned his bachelor of arts degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his juris doctor degree, cum laude, from The University of Richmond School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Eldredge served on both the Moot Court and Trial Advocacy boards. He was a member of the first place team in the 2004 ABA Labor and Employment Law Student Trial Advocacy Competition and the 2003 Barnett Moot Court Competition Champion.
Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Eldredge joined a law firm based in Charleston, W.V. as an associate in the firm’s Labor & Employment and Business Litigation practice groups. Mr. Eldredge joined Williams Mullen in 2006.
Mr. Eldredge is licensed in West Virginia and Virginia. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia. He is also on the board of directors for the Chesterfield Court Appointed Special Advocates.
