Andy Condlin is a partner in the Land Use Group of the Real Estate Section at Williams Mullen, where he represents developers and land owners in every aspect of commercial real estate, particularly in matters relating to land use, zoning, economic development, historic preservation and local government law issues. He also assists local governments, volunteer boards and private developers in amending and drafting local zoning ordinances and comprehensive plans.

Representations
Represented local raceway in their request to (a) amend the applicable Master Plan to increase available seating from the then existing 102,000 seats to up to 150,000 seats, and (b) a provisional use permit to increase the height of the facility from the existing allowed height of 110' to 215'. Part of approvals included drafting and comment on an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to allow race facilities to expand beyond the previous height limitation of 110'.
Coordination of zoning, title and real estate due diligence of over thirty restaurant locations in three states and seventeen jurisdictions.
Rezoning and conditional use permit representation for regional telephone switching station and tower site.
Rezoning and special use permit representation for natural gas electric generating facility that required an amendment of the zoning ordinance to allow for such a use.
Representation in variance approval for reduced parking requirements and increase in allowed signage.
