Evelyn Suarez is a partner in the International Section at Williams Mullen. She has more than 25 years of experience in both government and private practice in international trade law with a special focus on import and export compliance and regulation, as well as trade policy matters. Her practice includes administrative, regulatory, legislative and litigation representation for global companies that are involved in importing, exporting, transportation, logistics and customs brokerage. Ms. Suarez also has extensive experience with penalty and investigative matters. For example, she was engaged in a high profile representation in connection with various investigations by the United Nation's Independent Inquiry Committee and several U.S. Congressional committees involving the U.N. Oil-for-Food Programme.
