Bryan D. Wright
Bryan Wright serves as corporate, intellectual property, and litigation counsel to entrepreneurs, start-ups, going businesses, and public institutions. Mr. Wright has developed a strong understanding of intellectual property protection, licensing transactions, and intellectual property litigation. Over the last three decades, Mr. Wright has significant experience representing clients in manufacturing, retail, internet, and all aspects of the oil, gas, and natural resources industries.

Mr. Wright has developed a strong understanding of intellectual property protection, licensing transactions, and intellectual property litigation. Over the last three decades, Mr. Wright has significant experience representing clients in manufacturing, retail, internet, and all aspects of the oil, gas, and natural resources industries.
Mr. Wright is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Texas State Bar Oil & Gas and Intellectual Property sections. He is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Wright is a member of the American Bar Association Intellectual Property Section, and is the chairman and founder of the Intellectual Property Law Committee of the Charlottesville-Albemarle Bar Association. Mr. Wright is recognized as a “Super Lawyer” for Intellectual Property Law by Virginia Super Lawyers magazine. He is listed in Virginia Business magazine’s “Legal Elite” and frequently speaks on business and litigation law matters. He was also a briefing attorney for the Texas Fourth Court of Civil Appeals from 1977 to 1978. Martindale Hubbell has rated Mr. Wright an AV attorney, its highest rating available.
Active in civic and community affairs, Mr. Wright has been appointed by the City Council to the Charlottesville Economic Development Authority and currently serves as chairman. He is past president of the Charlottesville Rotary Club and currently serves on the board of directors for Entrepreneurial Village. Mr. Wright is a director of Piedmont Virginia Community College’s Education Foundation in Charlottesville.
Mr. Wright received his bachelor of arts degree from Trinity University. He received his juris doctor degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he was an author and associate editor of the St. Mary’s Law Review.
