RICHMOND, Va. – Williams Mullen announces that the 2010 edition of Chambers USA has again ranked the firm’s practice areas and attorneys among the top in Virginia and North Carolina. The firm secured eight different practice rankings and 20 individual attorney rankings.
The firm’s real estate practice in Virginia won accolades by moving from Band 2 to Band 1 as did the chair of the firm’s Financial Services and Real Estate section, John M. Mercer, who moved from Band 3 to Band 2.
Other individual rankings of significance included Thomas R. Frantz who moved from Band 2 to Band 1 in the Corporate/M&A: Southern Virginia category, Amos C. Dawson, III who moved from Band 2 to Band 1 in the Environment: North Carolina category and David C. Burton who moved from Band 3 to Band 2 in the Labor & Employment: Virginia category.
