Carl Peterson focuses his practice on general corporate and business law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities, venture capital transactions, partnerships, limited liability companies and corporate governance. Mr. Peterson is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association, and the Virginia Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division. Mr. Peterson received his juris doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law. While in law school, he placed first in the 2005 University of Richmond Negotiation Competition and served as president of the Client Counseling and Negotiation Board. He was also elected to serve as a justice on the school’s Honor Council. Mr. Peterson received a bachelor of science degree from Grand Valley State University.
