Carice Rice is an associate in the firm’s environmental section. She focuses her practice on environmental litigation, regulatory compliance and business transactions involving environmental issues. Ms. Rice is licensed to practice in North Carolina and is a member of the Environmental, Energy & Natural Resources Section of the North Carolina Bar Association. She earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with distinction, and a juris doctor degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law, with honors. While in law school, Ms. Rice was a member of the National Team and the Civil Rights Team of the Holderness Moot Court Bench. During law school, Ms. Rice served as a judicial intern for Judge Wallace Dixon, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Middle District of North Carolina.
