The Government Contracts Litigation and Investigations Team is comprised of former Assistant United States Attorneys, military prosecutors, litigators and seasoned criminal defense attorneys who have, collectively, tried hundreds of cases to verdict; appeared in federal district and appellate courts throughout the United States, numerous state courts; conducted investigations and arbitrations around the world; represented clients before most federal agencies, international tribunals, and before state Attorneys General in many states; and negotiated deferred and non-prosecution resolutions on behalf of clients so that the matters do not even reach the courthouse steps.

In any such action, we call upon our government experience at the investigative, federal grand jury trial and appellate levels to advise clients on how to effectively respond to all forms of investigations to avoid or limit costly civil liability and criminal exposure. Our clients have included large corporations, individual officers and directors, and employees in matters before all federal agencies, including DCIS, the SEC, the Department of Justice, the Department of Commerce, and the Department of Homeland Security.  We can assist with conducting internal audits and investigations of employee misconduct, and can advise on the best course of action, in light of environmental or securities laws, Sarbanes-Oxley, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
