Drew Gallalee has handled litigation from inception to trial in state and federal courts throughout Virginia. His practice involves products liability, personal injury/property damage, wrongful death claims and commercial litigation, including breach of contract, tortious interference and fraud. He also handles libel and slander cases, insurance law, toxic torts, premises liability, directors and officers defense, professional liability defense and labor law, including negligent hiring.

He also handles libel and slander cases, insurance law, toxic torts, premises liability, directors and officers defense, professional liability defense and labor law, including negligent hiring.
Mr. Gallalee’s practice emphasis also includes products liability defense work. He has defended dozens of different products in state and federal courts and has successfully defended the world’s largest manufacturer of augers and screw conveyors in an $11 million products liability case in federal court. He is a member of the Products Liability Section of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Gallalee has defended automobile and truck cases for more than 25 years for such insurance carriers as AIG and Chubb. He represents a national retailer for their truck accidents throughout Virginia. He recently defended a national waste management company in a multi-million dollar wrongful death case involving a collision with a school bus.
He was admitted to practice in 1981 in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia. Mr. Gallalee clerked for the Honorable Richard B. Kellam, Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia, from 1981 to 1982.
Mr. Gallalee graduated with honors from the University of Virginia in 1977 and received his law degree from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 1981, where he was an associate editor of the University of Richmond Law Review on the Moot Court Board. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and was named the Best Lawyers' 2012 Richmond Personal Injury Litigation Lawyer of the Year. In addition, Martindale Hubbell has rated Mr. Gallalee an AV attorney, its highest rating available.
A member of the Richmond, Virginia, and American bar associations and the Virginia State Bar, he also belongs to the Defense Research Institute.
