Earl Baggett is a strong supporter of the firm’s inclusive culture and strong mentoring programs. As a member of the firm’s recruiting committee, he sees first hand the efforts the firm puts forth to recruit actively and retain top diverse talent. The summer program is a great way to meet new potential candidates and to determine whether the firm is a good fit for them. Earl enjoys mentoring and collaborating with the summer clerks because he remembers when he was in their shoes and appreciated the support that he received.
Earl is a senior associate in the firm’s labor and employment and immigration practice groups. He focuses his practice on a wide range of federal and state employment issues, including Title VII, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Family Medical Leave Act. Earl provides employment advice to Human Resources professionals, drafts and interprets covenants not to compete, often drawing upon his immigration knowledge as he addresses complex employment issues . The collaborative nature of the labor and employment and immigration teams has helped Earl to advance his understanding of the law and his practice.
