Derek W. H. Kung

Derek Kung focuses his practice on assisting health care providers with general health care and corporate matters.

Mr. Kung is licensed to practice in Virginia and Massachusetts. He is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association and the Virginia Bar Association. Mr. Kung is also a member of the Georgetown University Alumni Admissions Program. He is active in the community, serving on the board of directors for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond.

Mr. Kung co-authored an article with Lynn F. Jacob and Patrick C. Devine entitled “Noncompetition Agreements Collide with Virginia’s Corporate Practice of Medicine Doctrine,” published in the February 2008 edition of the Virginia Lawyer.

Mr. Kung received a bachelor of arts degree from Georgetown University. He received his juris doctor degree from Emory University School of Law.
