Elinor P. Hindsley

Ellie Hindsley focuses her practice on all aspects of employee benefits law. She assists clients with the design, implementation and operation of tax-qualified retirement and savings plans, and health and welfare programs. She also assists clients with filing for determination letters from the IRS, correcting violations under the DOL’s Voluntary Fiduciary Correction Program and correcting plan errors under the IRS’s Employee Plans Compliance Resolution System (EPCRS).

Ellie Hindsley focuses her practice on all aspects of employee benefits law. During her third year of law school, she was an intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Virginia and prosecuted federal cases in U.S. Magistrate Court.

Ms. Hindsley is admitted to practice in Virginia and an active member in the Virginia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division.

Ms. Hindsley received her juris doctor degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Hindsley served as an editor of the Washington and Lee Environmental Law Digest. She volunteered as an income tax assistant with the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. She was also a member of the Labor and Employment Law Mock Trial Team, which won the semi-finals at the American Bar Association’s regional competition in Washington, D.C. Ms. Hindsley graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree from Washington and Lee University.
