Erica Thomas Meyers
Erica Meyers focuses her practice on commercial litigation, primarily in the areas of financial services litigation, creditor’s rights, contract disputes, collection matters, securities (FINRA) arbitration, and construction law. Her experience includes managing large electronic discovery projects in complex commercial litigation cases.
Prior to practicing law, Ms. Meyers worked in the financial services industry for two large financial institutions. She received her Series 7 and Series 63 licenses and dealt extensively with brokers, traders, institutional clients and underwriting counsel. She now uses her experience and first-hand knowledge when representing financial institutions, broker-dealers, and investment advisors in state and federal court and arbitration venues.

She is admitted to practice in North Carolina and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of North Carolina. Additionally, she is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She is also a member of the Tenth Judicial District Bar, the North Carolina and Wake County bar associations and the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys.
Ms. Meyers is a member of the Leadership Raleigh class of 2010. She serves as president of the Davidson College - Raleigh Alumni Chapter, is the co-chair of the Silent Auction for the Triangle Heart Ball, and is a member of the Junior League of Raleigh.
Ms. Meyers graduated from Davidson College with a bachelor of arts degree in history. She received her juris doctor, cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law. While in law school, she served as managing editor of the Richmond Journal of Global Law and Business.
