Panel: Litigating Cases Brought by the Government
In its Strategic Enforcement Program, the EEOC has made it clear that litigating systemic or large class cases are one of its priorities. In addition, the agency continues to litigate impact cases and actions on behalf of individuals. This program will address how to handle government actions from the investigation stage through conciliation through possible litigation. This program will provide various perspectives, including intervention in the case on behalf of individual claimants or class members, how to deal with the investigation and production of voluminous documents, conciliation suggestions and strategies and the ultimate litigation of the case – from discovery tactics, consultation of experts, summary judgment and trial.
