On April 20-21, the Virginia AeroSpace Business Association (VASBA) and the Hampton Roads Unmanned Systems Opportunity Exchange hosted an event featuring panels regarding the unmanned systems industry in Virginia. The event featured unmanned systems panel discussions with a wide range of both research & development and technology-affiliated organizations. Kevin Pomfret, representing the Unmanned Systems Association of Virginia (USAV), participated on a panel on regional economic development. Also on the panel were representatives from Senator Mark Warner’s office and the Secretary of Technology. The USAV is a trade association for the unmanned systems industry in Virginia that Patrick Cushing and Kevin helped to form. For more information, click here.
