On September 24, 2013, the Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) published the final version of its revised affirmative action regulations for protected veterans and individuals with disabilities. The final regulations will be effective March 24, 2014. Among other things, the new regulations will require the setting of hiring goals for individuals with disabilities, annual hiring benchmarks for protected veterans, and significant new recordkeeping requirements.
