Government Purchase of Commercial Items (GSA Schedules)

Federal, state and local governments increasingly are purchasing products and services in a commercial manner. This shift in procurement procedures allows companies with little or no government sales experience to enter the government marketplace, and permits the government to tap into a broad spectrum of products and services from a variety of potential offerors. Our attorneys assist clients in determining the best commercial contract vehicle by which to sell to the government, primarily through the General Services Administration Federal Supply Schedule Program. We help in the preparation and negotiation of schedule contracts, and counsel clients on issues arising from the administration and performance of commercial contract vehicles.

Our representative transactions include:

  • Negotiated award of General Services Administration Federal Supply Schedule Contracts for companies providing information technology services, steel prefabricated buildings and hardware supplies.
  • Conduct internal audit of major information technology provider’s compliance with terms of its GSA schedule contract.
