Williams Mullen Adds Associate to Real Estate Section
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Charlie Alvis has joined the firm as an associate. Mr. Alvis will be based out of the Charlottesville office and joins the firm’s Real Estate Section.
Mr. Alvis assists clients on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions and general corporate matters, including land use and zoning, leasing, acquisitions and sales, and complex financings.
Before joining Williams Mullen, Mr. Alvis practiced at a national law firm in Washington, D.C., where he focused on federal regulatory matters. During law school, he was a lead articles editor of the William & Mary Law Review, and he served as a judicial intern for Judge Sue L. Robinson of the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.
Mr. Alvis earned his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from William & Mary Law School. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Sewanee: The University of the South.
