Jamie Watkins Bruno

Jamie Watkins Bruno focuses her practice on banking and real estate matters. Ms. Bruno assists a wide variety of commercial lenders, from local and community banks to national banking associations, on all aspects of commercial financial transactions, including acquisition, development and construction loans secured by real property. Ms. Bruno also has experience with asset-based lending, federal and state historic rehabilitation and federal low-income tax credit transactions and loan workouts.

Ms. Bruno is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is a member of the Virginia Bar Association and serves on the Communications Committee for the Richmond Bar Association. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Bruno worked as a legal assistant in Washington, D.C., conducting legal research and preparing materials for depositions.

Ms. Bruno received her juris doctor from the College of William & Mary School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Bruno was recognized for excellence in research, writing, analysis and client relations. She also served as a Graduate Research Fellow and an articles editor for the William & Mary Journal of Women and the Law. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree from Washington & Lee University.
