Jill A. Grabowski
Jill Grabowski is a Director of Williams Mullen’s Federal Government Affairs practice, based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Ms. Grabowski provides full-service, bipartisan public affairs strategies to support client initiatives amidst the complex public policy challenges they face. She works with clients on government relations, legislative advocacy, procurement, business development, regulatory, public relations and corporate grassroots matters.
Jill Grabowski is a Director of Williams Mullen’s Federal Government Affairs practice, based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Ms. Grabowski provides full-service, bipartisan public affairs strategies to support client initiatives amidst the complex public policy challenges they face. She works with clients on government relations, legislative advocacy, procurement, business development, regulatory, public relations and corporate grassroots matters.
Prior to joining Williams Mullen, Ms. Grabowski was Government Affairs Marketing Manager for Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where she managed the business development, marketing and communications activities of the firm’s national Government Affairs Practice. Her work also encompassed oversight and management of political fundraisers at the federal, state and local levels as well as coordination of advocacy initiatives among the firm’s regional government affairs teams.
Ms. Grabowski’s professional background also includes working for the marketing firm Odell, Simms & Lynch, where she developed and managed relationships with companies across the U.S. regarding their international business expansion plans. While there, she managed the firm's largest economic development client for a three year, multi-million dollar contract.
A native of Northern Ohio, Ms. Grabowski earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Kent State University. She also served as a domestic policy intern in the Washington office of Senator Edward M. Kennedy.
Representative Experience:
- Drafted numerous strategic planning documents for major corporations on varying topics including business development initiatives, global investment trends, and government affairs outreach.
- Created and implemented a political compliance program for a large PAC which included drafting policies and reference materials and developing online forms to track contributions and fundraisers.
- Planned and managed firm and client participation in the 2004 and 2008 Democratic and Republican Presidential conventions.
- Served as U.S. Representative for a British economic development agency. Oversaw U.S. program for inward investment and cultivated relationships with global corporations.
- Worked with an alternative fuel coalition on marketing and outreach initiatives.
