Julia Wicker Lee

Julia Wicker Lee is a member of the firm’s commercial litigation practice. Ms. Wicker Lee focuses her practice on financial services litigation, representing creditors and institutional lenders in matters involving bankruptcy, commercial collections, corporate loan workouts, creditor disputes, and foreclosures. In addition to financial services litigation, Ms. Wicker Lee also maintains a general commercial litigation practice in the areas of administrative law, contract and real estate law, licensing board disputes, and business torts.

Licensed to practice in North Carolina, Ms. Wicker Lee has appeared before North Carolina state and federal courts, the North Carolina Office of Administrative Hearings, North Carolina licensing boards, and the American Arbitration Association where she seeks an efficient and effective resolution of all matters.

Ms. Wicker Lee is a member of the American Bar Association, North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Association of Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Professional Women. She is a member of the Recruitment Committee for the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network. She also chairs the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Wake County Bar Association and serves on the organization's Social Commitee and Athletic Committee. In 2011, Ms. Wicker Lee was recognized as a "Rising Star" by North Carolina Super Lawyers magazine.


Ms. Wicker Lee earned a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Wake Forest University, and her juris doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law where she received the Order of Barristers for outstanding oral advocacy and was a member of the Moot Court Board and the National Moot Court Team.
