Kelly C. Hanley

Kelly Colquette Hanley’s practice focuses on general business litigation. She has experience in: creditor's rights litigation including foreclosures, collections and lender liability defense; real property litigation including condemnation, boundary disputes and road and railroad rights of way; construction disputes; as well as general commercial matters. Ms. Hanley also has extensive courtroom experience from serving over five years as a prosecutor in Texas, and thereafter as a defense attorney for several years.

Immediately prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hanley served as the Trial Court Administrator for the Fifth Judicial District in North Carolina. 

Ms. Hanley is licensed to practice in North Carolina and Texas. She is past president of the New Hanover County Bar Association and vice-chairperson of the New Hanover County Criminal Justice Partnership Board and a member of the Pender County Criminal Justice Partnership Board.

Ms. Hanley is also active with the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Ms. Hanley earned her bachelor of arts degree from Syracuse University and her juris doctor degree from Tulane Law School.
