Kendra J. Jarrell
Kendra Jarrell focuses her practice on complex commercial, employment and real estate litigation. Ms. Jarrell has represented national retailers and manufacturers, municipalities and corporate clients in contract, trade secret, unfair business practice, real estate, CAM, employment and ERISA litigation. In addition to litigation in state and federal courts, Ms. Jarrell has successfully represented clients before administrative agencies and in arbitration and mediation.

She is a member of the Virginia State Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Ms. Jarrell is a member of the Litigation and Labor & Employment sections of the American Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association. She is a member of the Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association and the Labor Relations & Employment Law Section of the Virginia Bar Association. Ms. Jarrell is listed in Virginia Super Lawyers Rising Stars magazine for Business Litigation.
Ms. Jarrell is co-author, “Take This Job and ... Sign Here: What Every Employer Should Consider Before Entering into an Employment Agreement,” published in the Virginia CLE 13th Annual Employment Law Update by the Virginia Law Foundation in 2004.
Ms. Jarrell is a member of the James Kent American Inn of Court. Additionally, she has volunteered as a member of the NPBA Young Lawyers Section Tutoring Program and the VBA Community Service Program. She also serves on the ForKids Art Auction committee.
A 1996 graduate of Toccoa Falls College, Ms. Jarrell received her bachelor of science degree, cum laude. She received her juris doctor degree, also cum laude, from Regent University School of Law in 2003. While in law school, Ms. Jarrell served as both staff editor and managing editor of the Regent University Law Review. She was noted in Who’s Who: American Law Students for 2003 and recognized as a Beazley Scholar. Ms. Jarrell was also the 2001 winner of the Best Brief Award during the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition for the Southeast Region.
