Kyle Wingfield focuses his practice on the taxation of businesses, with a particular emphasis on corporate and international tax matters. Mr. Wingfield has significant experience in both domestic and international tax issues. Before joining Williams Mullen, Mr. Wingfield worked in the International Tax group at KPMG LLP, where he advised clients on matters related to the U.S. taxation of inbound and outbound transactions. Prior to KPMG, Mr. Wingfield practiced law at Crowgey & Grossman for two years as a corporate tax attorney, representing clients in federal and state tax controversy matters. Mr. Wingfield has volunteered at the Community Tax Law Project for several years, where he represents low-income taxpayers in disputes with the IRS and the Virginia Department of Taxation. Mr. Wingfield received his masters of laws in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. He graduated from the University of Richmond School of Law, magna cum laude. Mr. Wingfield earned his bachelors degree from the University of Virginia.
