Leeron Avnery focuses her practice on general business matters, with emphasis on corporate finance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity financing. She also focuses on various energy-related matters, including matters related to the solar industry.
Leeron Avnery focuses her practice on general business matters, with emphasis on corporate finance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity financing. She also focuses on various energy-related matters, including matters related to the solar industry. Ms. Avnery is licensed to practice in Virginia and is an active member of both the American Bar Association and the Richmond Bar Association. She received a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Yale University, where she was an NCAA gymnast, and her juris doctor degree from William & Mary School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Avnery authored, "The Gender Gap: A Persistent Problem that Congress has Yet to Address," which was published in the 2009-10 William & Mary Journal of Women and the Law. She is a member of the Order of the Coif and the recipient of the Legal Skills Scholar Award, Alumni Scholarship and Graduate Research Fellowship. Ms. Avnery has volunteered her time to the Association for Retarded Citizens and The Rita Welsh Adult Literacy Program. She is conversationally fluent in Hebrew.
