Larry Siegel is co-chair of the Long Term Care Industry Service Group at Williams Mullen. He has focused his practice on business law and commercial transactions including structural matters and M&A for over 35 years with a special concentration on the long term care industry. His clients range from privately held businesses to large, private and public corporations.

Larry Siegel is co-chair of the Long Term Care Industry Service Group at Williams Mullen. He has focused his practice on business law and commercial transactions including structural matters and M&A for over 35 years with a special concentration on the long term care industry. His clients range from privately held businesses to large, private and public corporations.

Mr. Siegel is active in the long term health care industry and has represented investors, health care providers, private and public REITs and private equity investors since 1974. In the recent past, he has served as lead counsel on merger and acquisition health care transactions involving hundreds of SNFs, ALFs, and ILFs at a transaction value greater than $5 billion dollars. Some of the acquisitions and dispositions were structured as stock/equity purchase agreements and others as asset purchase agreements. Yet others were acquired pursuant to bankruptcy court order following bankruptcy court auctions in which Mr. Siegel’s clients were the successful bidder.

A former member of the board of Old Dominion University Entrepreneurial Center and a former vice chairman of the City of Virginia Beach Resort Area Advisory Commission, Mr. Siegel serves on numerous charitable boards and committees. He has been named one of Virginia’s “Legal Elite” by Virginia Business magazine and a “Super Lawyer” by Virginia Super Lawyers magazine. In addition, Martindale Hubbell has rated Mr. Siegel an AV attorney, its highest rating available.

He received his undergraduate degree in 1969 from the University of Virginia and his law degree in 1973 from Georgetown University Law Center.
