Mr. Boyd focuses his litigation practice on defending banks, mortgage lenders, and debt collectors against a wide variety of federal and state law claims, including claims brought under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). He has strong experience litigating civil cases in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Boyd is a member of the Virginia State Bar and has been admitted in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia. Outside of the office, he is a member of the James River Association and serves as a member of the University Athletics Committee of Washington & Lee University.
Mr. Boyd received his bachelor of arts degree from Washington & Lee University and his juris doctor degree, cum laude, from Washington & Lee School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Boyd served as a staff writer for both the Washington and Lee Law Review and the Environmental Law Digest.
