Mary Katherine McGetrick

Mary Katherine McGetrick is a partner in the Real Estate and Financial Services Section at Williams Mullen where she helps clients with the acquisition, development, financing and leasing of commercial property. Ms. McGetrick protects the interests of developers, investors, landlords and tenants in a wide range of complex real estate transactions. She has significant experience counseling clients in the health care industry including drafting and negotiating medical office building leases for health care systems, doctors and medical practice groups. In addition, she helps resolve workout situations with leases and foreclosure matters and has guided clients in sustainable or “green” leasing and development.

Ms. McGetrick is listed in Virginia Super Lawyers Rising Stars magazine for Real Estate. She is immediate past president for the Richmond Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Ms. McGetrick is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Metro Richmond. She is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Metro Richmond Women’s Bar Association.

Ms. McGetrick received her bachelor of arts degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She received her juris doctor degree from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she served as interscholastic chairperson of the Moot Court Board and editor-at-large of the Richmond Journal of Law and the Public Interest.
