Economic Development Leader Paul Reimel Joins Williams Mullen from Downtown Raleigh Alliance

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Paul Reimel*, former Economic Development Manager for the Downtown Raleigh Alliance (DRA), has joined the law firm as Business Development Manager for the firm’s North Carolina marketing initiative out of Raleigh. In addition to helping lead North Carolina marketing efforts, he will be supporting attorneys in the Litigation and Labor and Employment practices across the firm’s 10 offices in North Carolina, Virginia and Washington, D.C. 

Paul brings over 16 years of business development experience from his background in economic development, mediation and politics in the mid-Atlantic region including Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C. and Raleigh. In his most recent position with the DRA, he worked to bring businesses into the downtown area. Prior to DRA, Paul worked for the Majority Leader in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, helping facilitate economic development projects in the caucus members’ districts.

In addition to his work in economic development, Paul is involved in the community through organizations like the Mordecai Citizens Advisory Council and BEST (Beautifying Emerging Spaces Together), a collaborative initiative engaging artists and business/property owners primarily in downtown Raleigh.
