07.27.2015 Elizabeth Scott named one of Benchmark Litigation's 'Top 250 Women in Litigation'

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Benchmark Litigation has named Elizabeth Davenport Scott one of the “Top 250 Women in Litigation” in the United States for 2015. This is the fourth consecutive year Ms. Scott has earned the honor.

Ms. Scott, a Partner based in the firm’s Raleigh office, represents manufacturers and long-term care providers in personal injury, products liability, business, fiduciary, environmental and insurance coverage disputes. With more than 25 years of litigation experience and 15 years of experience as a mediator, Ms. Scott helps businesses in an effort to minimize their exposure to liability by selecting the best and most cost effective forum to resolve their disputes, whether through mediation, arbitration or jury trial. As chair of the Williams Mullen Women's Initiative, Ms. Scott also serves as a liaison member of the firm's Board of Directors.

Ms. Scott has been recognized by a number of other rankings outlets, including "The Best Lawyers in America" and "North Carolina Super Lawyers."

She and others included on the list were selected based on peer review conducted for the 2015 edition of Benchmark Litigation, the parent publication of Top 250 Women in Litigation. The full list and information about its methodology are available here.
