02.21.2010 Former Chair of Bracewell & Giuliani's Government Contracts Practice Joins Williams Mullen

RICHMOND, VA. – Williams Mullen announces that the former chair of Bracewell & Giuliani’s government contracts practice has joined the firm. Anthony H. Anikeeff will be a member of Williams Mullen’s government contracts practice and will focus his practice on counseling, litigation, trial and appellate work.

“Tony is one of the most well respected government contracts attorneys in the country,” said Thomas O. Mason, chair of the firm’s government contracts practice. “The contributions that he brings to Williams Mullen are vast and we are very fortunate that he has decided to join us.”

Mr. Anikeeff represents clients in the diverse sectors of energy, information technology, aerospace, ground support, manufacturing, heavy industry, construction, security, and service industries. He has represented clients in matters involving the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, Energy, Agriculture, HHS, and Interior as well as NASA, GSA, and other agencies. He also has represented clients before various state agencies.

Mr. Anikeeff earned his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Virginia. He received his juris doctor degree from the College of William & Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law and his master of laws degree from the London School of Economic and Political Science.
