Mike Sajovec Brings Nearly 30 Years of Intellectual Property Experience to Williams Mullen

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Mike Sajovec has joined the firm’s Intellectual Property group in the Raleigh office. His addition further bolsters a growing intellectual property practice that has seen three partners and one associate join the IP practice in the Raleigh office in the last two years.  

Mr. Sajovec joins Williams Mullen after 18 years with Myers Bigel Sibley and Sajovec, P.A., which he helped start as a founding partner in 1997. He brings nearly 30 years of intellectual property law experience to Williams Mullen, particularly in the chemical and pharmaceutical fields, and he has extensive trademark experience.

“Mike brings a wealth of chemical patent experience to our firm,” North Carolina Managing Partner David Paulson said. “His addition adds to our deep roster of Corporate and IP attorneys in Raleigh who provide valuable services to companies and industries in the Triangle and the rest of North Carolina.”

In 2014, Mr. Sajovec was named the Best Lawyers® Litigation Patent “Lawyer of the Year” for Raleigh and he has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America© each year since 2013. In addition, Martindale-Hubbell has rated him an AV Preeminent attorney. Mr. Sajovec received his Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University.
