Williams Mullen Adds IP Attorney Jackie Knapp in Raleigh

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Jackie Knapp has joined the firm as an intellectual property associate in Raleigh. Ms. Knapp joins Williams Mullen from Lathrop Gage LLP in Kansas City, Mo. Jackie counsels clients on filing, use, and enforcement strategies worldwide. In addition, she helps clients navigate the patent and trademark process by performing extensive product review and clearance searches, drafting patent and trademark applications and more.

Ms. Knapp has experience helping clients manage their patents and trademarks throughout a wide range of industries, including fashion, beauty products, hotel, building products, shipping, automotive, aviation, baby products, and agriculture.

She is admitted to practice at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, as well as in North Carolina and Kansas. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Mississippi, and she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina.
