06.05.2013 Williams Mullen Adds Veteran Technology Attorney Rob Tyler to Corporate Law Practice
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that experienced technology attorney J. Robert “Rob” Tyler III has joined the firm as a Partner in the Corporate and Private Equity law practice.
Mr. Tyler has dedicated the past 17 years to helping entrepreneurs grow emerging technology companies in a variety of industries, including information technology, life sciences, medical devices, health care, nanotechnology, and advanced materials. He represents his clients in a wide range of transactions including equity and debt financings, intellectual property and technology licensing, strategic alliances and partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. Moreover, he has an extensive network of contacts with potential investors and other resources of potential value to his clients.

Mr. Tyler has almost 25 years of experience in business and corporate law, having worked most recently as a Partner at Poyner Spruill and, prior to that, at Hutchison Law Group. He is a member of the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of the CED (formerly, the Council for Entrepreneurial Development). He is a graduate of the University of Richmond, where he earned his J.D. and B.S.
