06.16.2016 Williams Mullen Grows Intellectual Property Practice with Addition of Marc Pollak

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Marc Pollak has joined the firm as an Associate in the Intellectual Property section. Mr. Pollak joins Williams Mullen after more than a year as Legal Counsel for FN America, LLC, a leading global firearms manufacturer.

Mr. Pollak’s practice focuses on numerous aspects of intellectual property law, including licensing, litigation, counseling and trademark prosecution. In addition to joining the IP team, Mr. Pollak’s experience at FN America will add more depth to the firm’s Firearms Industry Practice.

“We are pleased to welcome Marc to the team,” Intellectual Property Section Co-Chair Craig Mytelka said. “Marc will provide value for all of our IP clients and can provide particular value to those in the firearms industry.”

Mr. Pollak has experience advising general counsel and business executives on state, federal and international laws and regulations, including state and federal assault weapons bans, the Arms Export Control Act and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Mr. Pollak earned his Juris Doctor degree from American University and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University. He is currently licensed to practice in Florida only.
