10.20.2015 Williams Mullen Welcomes Former Skadden Associate Vanessa Yearick to Corporate Practice

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce the addition of Vanessa Yearick as an Associate in the firm’s Business & Corporate practice in Norfolk. Ms. Yearick joins Williams Mullen after seven years as a Corporate Finance associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York. She assists public companies and investment banks in a variety of securities transactions, including public offerings of equity and debt securities, private placements and tender offers. 

We are excited to have Vanessa join our fast-growing corporate transactional and securities law practice,” John Paris, chair of the firm’s Private Equity and Venture Capital practice, said. “Her experience, talents and personality strengthen our practice and provide another valuable asset for our clients in the region and throughout the firm.”

Ms. Yearick has assisted clients with respect to general corporate and securities law matters and filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, stock exchanges and other regulatory bodies. She also has experience assisting real estate investment trusts in securities transactions.  She received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. She is not licensed to practice in Virginia.
