11.15.2016 Williams Mullen Welcomes Three First-Year Associates

Williams Mullen is pleased to welcome three first-year associates to the firm. Alexandra Gabriel and Jason Green will be based in our Virginia Beach office, and Marie Yascko-Rosado will be based in our Richmond office.

Alexandra joins our Labor & Employment practice, where she will focus on general employment advice, including matters related to Title VII compliance, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family Medical Leave Act and various other federal and state laws.

Alexandra earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia, where she served as an Executive Editor for the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology. Before joining Williams Mullen, she was a judicial clerk for The Honorable Glenn R. Croshaw, The Honorable James C. Lewis and The Honorable Stephen C. Mahan at the Virginia Beach Circuit Court.

Jason joins our Intellectual Property practice, and he will focus his practice on patent, trademark, copyright and licensing matters. He assists businesses with identifying and enhancing the value of intellectual property assets, as well as portfolio management, due diligence, and opinions. Jason is a Certified International Privacy Professional with a concentration in U.S. Law (CIPP/US). He earned his Juris Doctor degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina.

Before pursuing his law degree, Jason served as a nuclear engineer in the United States Navy for six years, and he worked as a nuclear control room operator for Duke Energy & Entergy.

Marie joins our Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation and Tax practices, where she will assist clients with a variety of employee benefits, executive compensation and tax matters. She will advise clients on the design and implementation of all types of employee benefit programs, including qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. She also will advise clients on the federal, state and international taxation of business entities and provide domestic and international tax planning for businesses and individuals

Marie earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Richmond and her Master of Taxation degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in international business and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from James Madison University.
