Andrae Via focuses his practice on commercial real estate and banking services, with particular focus on the development, sale, acquisition and leasing of commercial property. He is experienced in the negotiation and drafting of leases for office, retail, marine terminal and industrial properties, including both landlord and tenant representation. He recently assisted in the negotiation and drafting of a marine terminal lease for one of the largest ports in Hampton Roads and drafted documents for a marine terminal lease for a port located in the City of Richmond, Virginia.

He has also represented lenders and borrowers in the financing or refinancing of commercial real estate, as well as reviewing problem loan portfolios for lenders and borrowers and proposing practical solutions. He also assists clients with the purchase and sale of businesses and related corporate matters.

Mr. Via is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Virginia Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division.

Mr. Via received his juris doctor degree from the William & Mary School of Law. He received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Via served as an instructional aide in the Roanoke County Public School system where he worked with children with special needs.
