Courtney Reigel
Courtney Reigel helps businesses with their legal issues involving trademarks and other intellectual property, licensing, domain names, privacy and data protection.
Clients rely on Courtney’s experience managing national and international trademark and copyright portfolios. She counsels clients on the selection, use, registration and enforcement of trademarks and service marks, and drafts and reviews licenses. She helps companies establish internal procedures to protect their intellectual property assets, preserve long-term value and avoid conflicts.
In addition, Courtney tracks emerging trends and legislation and advises clients on data security and privacy compliance and enforcement matters.
Courtney received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she earned the university’s Intellectual Property Certificate, and served on the editorial board of the Richmond Public Interest Law Review. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations from the University of Alabama, cum laude.
