Mr. Imperial has extensive experience representing creditors in consumer bankruptcies by pursuing motions for relief from the automatic stay, objections to confirmation of Chapter 13 plans, prosecuting dischargeability and discharge actions, defending contempt actions and negotiating reaffirmation agreements. He has also been involved in representing companies in commercial debtor Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.

He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association. He enjoys being active in community affairs and has been affiliated in the past with the Boys and Girls Clubs and the United Way Campaign. Mr. Imperial received a bachelor of arts degree, cum laude, from Old Dominion University in 1985 and a juris doctor degree from Mercer University School of Law in 1988.
