Mentoring the Future

The greatest reward is having the opportunity to mentor women attorneys as their careers develop.”

Team building and mentorships are an essential part of the Williams Mullen culture. No one knows that better than Elizabeth Scott who has dedicated a great deal of her time to mentoring women attorneys and advancing the firm’s Women’s Initiative. In her role as chair of the Women’s Initiative, Elizabeth works to assist women attorneys in their professional development beyond the development of legal skills. The Women’s Initiative regularly holds team building events and sponsors networking events to introduce women attorneys to clients, community, industry leaders and referral sources within the firm’s footprint.

In addition to her work with the firm and her practice, Elizabeth serves on the board of directors for Shepherd’s Table Soup Kitchen. In 2008 Elizabeth was named a “Woman Extraordinaire” by North Carolina Business Leader magazine.
