Tayloe Gwathmey focuses his practice on the representation of commercial banks and other financial institutions, including commercial and real estate loan documentation, asset based lending, creditors’ rights, problem loan workouts, bankruptcies, and reorganizations.
Tayloe Gwathmey focuses his practice on the representation of commercial banks and other financial institutions, including commercial and real estate loan documentation, asset based lending, creditors’ rights, problem loan workouts, bankruptcies, and reorganizations. Mr. Gwathmey is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Mr. Gwathmey received his juris doctor degree from the University of Richmond School of Law. While in law school, he was an associate member of the Richmond Journal of Law & Technology and provided pro bono services with the Legal Aid Center for Justice in Richmond. He was also elected to serve as a justice on the Honor Council. Mr. Gwathmey earned a bachelor of arts degree from Roanoke College.
