Panel Presentation on Sequestration and Important Trends in Government Procurement
Presented by Bob Fitzgerald, President and CEO of BOSH Global Services (a leading provider of Unmanned Aircraft Systems); Steven Schooner, Co-Director of the Government Procurement Law Program at George Washington University's School of Law; and Bob Korroch, Co-Chair of Williams Mullen's Government Contract.

In 2013, federal procurement spending "plunged" below the $500 billion threshold for the first time since 2007. Does this signify a dramatic change for contractors? In the eye-opening presentation moderated by Mr. Korroch of Williams Mullen, Professor Schooner will analyze recent trends in federal procurement spending and equip attendees to assess the impact of spending reductions on the government contracting market. Mr. Fitzgerald will share examples of how the government is supporting critical programs and will describe examples of how contractors are pursuing new growth in diverse markets for technology that was initially developed for government defense and intelligence operations.
