State and Local Tax Partner, Stephanie Lipinski Galland will be presenting three times over the course of the American Bar Association/IPT Advanced Tax Virtual Seminars, twice during the sales tax seminar and once during the income tax seminar.
On Monday, March 14, from 1:00-2:00pm, Stephanie will speak on “Managing Contracts to Avoid Tax Headaches.” This is an interactive discussion focused on proactive contract management to mitigate future audit risk and exposure to unexpected tax liabilities. The panel will highlight common considerations while providing tangible examples of a contract review.
On Tuesday, March 15, from 12:15-1:45pm, Stephanie will moderate “The Annual Big Easy Brawl” panel, a program outlining perspectives on current and trending SALT issues and policies.
On Friday, March 18, from 1:45-2:45pm, Stephanie will moderate and speak on “The ‘Top Ten’ State and Local Income Tax Cases and Issues Every Practitioner Needs to Know.” The panel will offer perspectives on cases and issues that impact how taxpayers and practitioners apply state and local taxes to the real world of business.
