Economic Stimulus for Renewables: 120 Days and Counting Speaking Engagement 06.17.2009 12:00am Topic
The Obama Administration continues its focus on climate change, energy efficiency and renewable energy development to drive economic recovery from the worst recession since 1929. Billions are now earmarked for energy, water, renewables and related infrastructure programs. This national webinar offered by ABA/ACORE helps industry, government and legal advisors together to chart progress 120 days later on seminal issues of: applications and guidance, taxes, grants, loan guarantees and bond financing. We also will review the role of the states; Congressional oversight; accounting; government contracting and procurement; structuring and related regulatory advice which are essential to succeed in this new environment.

Following our March program on what the Economic Stimulus Means for Renewals with 740 national attendees, we will take the pulse 120 days later to herald success, what's working, what needs help and what is yet to come. The Administration forecasts 70% of stimulus funding will be spent by June, 2010. Will we get there and how?
