On May 23, 2018, the Williams Mullen Center in Richmond will play host to a Solar in Virginia Discussion & Networking Reception event from the Maryland-DC-Delaware-Virginia Solar Energy Industries Association (MDV-SEIA). The event will feature panel discussions on the latest market developments and what to expect from the industry over the next year, including:
Open for business: A deep dive on large-scale solar in Virginia
The utility-scale panel will focus on implementation on the grid modernization legislation, developments at the State Corporation Commission (SCC), and interconnection queue reform. Panelists will also discuss the Virginia Solar Workforce Development Initiative in Southern Virginia and the Solar Research Institute's land use program.
