On January 25, Carrie Stanton served on an alumni panel as part of a virtual 1L Spring Semester Kickoff event for approximately 300 1Ls and LLMs at the University of Virginia School of Law. The event began with an address by Dean Goluboff, and the panel consisted of Carrie, former Norfolk Delegate Jay Jones and Roscoe Jones, Jr. of Gibson Dunn. Panelists spoke to students and answered questions about career paths, setbacks and resilience and the pursuit of service in a legal career.
