11.25.2008 Adys Janelle Iturbe Joins Williams Mullen MCLEAN, VA – Williams Mullen announces that Adys Janelle Iturbe has joined the firm in the McLean, Virginia office. Janelle Iturbe focuses her practice on business and corporate matters.  She assists clients with developing effective marketing strategies which comply with telemarketing, email, fax, direct mail, and internet marketing laws.  Ms. Iturbe also represents lenders and business entities in commercial financings, asset and stock sales, and other asset dispositions.

Ms. Iturbe is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  She is a member of the Virginia Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Ms. Iturbe received her juris doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School.  During her third year of law school, Ms. Iturbe acted as a mediator with the Consumer Mediation Clinic and with the Community Dispute Resolution Center, a program of the Center for Dispute Settlement.  While in law school, she also participated in the outside placement program as a legal intern at Ayuda, Inc. and in the pro bono program as a volunteer for the pro bono Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.  Ms. Iturbe also served as both the vice president and director of programming for the Student Bar Association.  Ms. Iturbe earned a bachelor of arts degree with general honors from the University of Chicago. Ms. Iturbe speaks and writes Spanish fluently.
