12.01.2009 Christopher S. Koves Joins Williams Mullen Williams Mullen announces that Christopher S. Koves has joined the firm in the Washington, DC office.Chris Koves focuses his practice on state and federal communications issues, including broadcast media, telecommunications and regulatory compliance.  He also has experience with general regulatory compliance before federal agencies.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Koves served as a legal intern with the Federal Communications Commission in the Office of Commissioner Deborah Taylor Tate, and in the, then, Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, Public Safety and Critical Infrastructure Division.    

Mr. Koves is admitted to practice in Virginia. He is also a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association.

Mr. Koves received his juris doctor degree from the Indiana University-Bloomington, Michael Maurer School of Law.  While in law school, Mr. Koves served as an articles editor for the Indiana Law Journal and participated in Moot Court.  He graduated, summa cum laude, with a bachelor of arts degree from the College of William & Mary.
