03.31.2016 Construction Associate Jimmy Germano Joins Williams Mullen

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce the addition of James “Jimmy” Germano to the firm’s Construction practice.  Mr. Germano joins the firm after more than two years at Eccleston and Wolf, P.C. and a judicial clerkship.  He represents owners, contractors, subcontractors and architects in drafting contracts and resolving construction disputes.  He has represented multiple architects in construction litigation, arbitration and mediation, as well as numerous other individual and corporate clients in premises and professional liability cases.

Williams Mullen’s Construction practice features nearly 20 attorneys who represent project owners, developers, architects/engineers, construction managers, contractors, suppliers and sureties for public and private projects both inside and outside the United States.

“Jimmy brings immediate skill and value to our growing Construction practice,” Williams Mullen Construction practice Chair Bob Cox said.  “We are very excited to add him to our team.”

In addition, Mr. Germano has experience drafting, submitting and arguing pleadings, dispositive and non-dispositive motions, discovery requests and responses, discovery motions, expert designations and expert motions.  He has taken and defended several lay and expert depositions of both party and non-party witnesses.

Mr. Germano received his Juris Doctor degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.  After law school, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Richard E. Jordan in the Montgomery County, Maryland Circuit Court.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in both economics and government from Cornell University.  While at Cornell, Jimmy was a four-year varsity athlete on the Men’s Heavyweight Rowing Team, and he competed internationally on the United States National Rowing Team.
